Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College Meerut was established in 1966 by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta ji. The college is named after an eminent freedom fighter, Lala Lajpat Rai, also known as the Lion of Punjab. LLRM Medical College Meerut is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The college initially started functioning with its first batch of 58 MBBS students in August 1966, which got increased to 100 in the year 1968. The hospital of LLRM Meerut started functioning on 30th January, 1972 with a capacity of 1040 beds by former Honourable Health Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Prem Chand Sharma ji. The Hospital also comprises a four story modern operation theatre block provided with 14 operation theatres. The postgraduate programmes in this college started functioning from 1974. All the programmes of the college are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). LLRM Medical College Meerut provides admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes based on NEET scores.

NEET UG Counselling Procedure for All India Quota Government Colleges

The NEET UG counselling process for the All India Quota (AIQ) is managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and is conducted online. The process involves several steps, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.

Registration

  • Visit the official MCC website.
  • Click on the 'New Registration' link.
  • Enter the required details such as NEET Roll Number, Application Number, Name, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
  • Pay the registration fee online.

Choice Filling and Locking

  • Log in to the MCC portal using the credentials.
  • Fill in choices of colleges and courses as per preference.
  • Modify and rearrange choices if needed.
  • Lock the choices before the deadline.

Seat Allotment

  • MCC processes the seat allotment based on NEET rank, choices filled, reservation criteria, and availability of seats.
  • The result of the seat allotment is published on the MCC website.
  • Download the allotment letter from the portal.

Reporting to Allotted College

  • Report to the allotted college with the allotment letter and required documents.
  • Complete the admission formalities at the college.
  • If satisfied with the allotment, complete the admission process.
  • If not satisfied, participate in the next round of counselling.
