The vision is to train a new creed of competent medical professionals who would also be educated in the principals of selfless service and dedication to the greater good. With this motto, the foundation stone for SMBT Group of Institutes was laid in 2007. The SMBT Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, in Igatpuri, Maharashtra is the newest step taken towards fulfilling that dream. The SMBT medical college conducts four and half year undergraduate course in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi & affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The development activity of medical division is supervised & regularized by Dr.Mrs. Meenal M. Mohgaonkar, Dean having 22 years of qualitative experience in the medical sphere. The state-of-the-art facilities & infrastructure for the medical students is designed to enables them to develop high degree of the institute has immense the infrastructure of the institute is well crafted The institute provides state-of-the-art facilities to the students with well-furnished laboratories, library, accommodation facilities for boys & girls, auditorium, lecture theatre.
