All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal (AIIMS Bhopal) is a medical research public university located in the Saket Nagar suburb of BhopalMadhya PradeshIndia. It is one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).

AIIMS Bhopal launched its first academic department, community and family medicine (CFM) in September 2012, formed its Institute Body (IB), in July 2013 and started post graduation courses in January 2017.

 The AIIMS, Bhopal is a huge establishment sprawling in 150 acres having a large hospital complex, residential complex, hostels, Medical College, Nursing College (Centre of Excellence in Nursing Education) and other essential services. At present the bed strength of the hospital services is 793 with 24 modular operation theatres, 42 functional departments that include 22 speciality, 14 super-speciality and 6 other departments, catering to an average footfall of around 46264 OPD per month and 1609 IPD patients per month.  The speciality services available at AIIMS, Bhopal include Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Community & Family Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, Dietetics, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Microbiology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, etc Recently a new and Department of Translational Medicine has also been created, which is unique in the country. The AIIMS, Bhopal also has a Department of AYUSH to include Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.  On the construction front, AIIMS, Bhopal has 135 blocks. 

  The AIIMS, Bhopal is expected to accommodate distinct talents, deliver highly trained medical and paramedical human resources in the interests of the country and conduct research of national and regional health interest. The institute allows experimenting with innovations in medical education.   AIIMS, Bhopal is imparting a total of 9 courses through its Medical College and Nursing College.  These courses include MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCH, PDCC, PhD and BSc Nursing (Hons) and MSc (Nursing).

NEET UG Counselling Procedure for All India Quota Government Colleges

The NEET UG counselling process for the All India Quota (AIQ) is managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and is conducted online. The process involves several steps, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.

Registration

  • Visit the official MCC website.
  • Click on the 'New Registration' link.
  • Enter the required details such as NEET Roll Number, Application Number, Name, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
  • Pay the registration fee online.

Choice Filling and Locking

  • Log in to the MCC portal using the credentials.
  • Fill in choices of colleges and courses as per preference.
  • Modify and rearrange choices if needed.
  • Lock the choices before the deadline.

Seat Allotment

  • MCC processes the seat allotment based on NEET rank, choices filled, reservation criteria, and availability of seats.
  • The result of the seat allotment is published on the MCC website.
  • Download the allotment letter from the portal.

Reporting to Allotted College

  • Report to the allotted college with the allotment letter and required documents.
  • Complete the admission formalities at the college.
  • If satisfied with the allotment, complete the admission process.
  • If not satisfied, participate in the next round of counselling.

Second Round of Counselling (if applicable)

  • Fresh registration for new candidates.
  • Already registered candidates can directly proceed to choice filling.
  • Follow the same procedure as the first round for choice filling, locking, and seat allotment.
